AT RILEY STADIUM, HOME OF THE RIVERDOGS
Our thanks go out to the RiverDogs for inviting our organization to attend a really fun day at Riley Stadium on Sunday, April 30. So people, along with their beautiful dogs, came out and sampled some great special brews. Bob and I had a chance to visit with so many folks – our main focus to recruit some of these dog lovers to be foster parents for us. We handed out around 10 applications to some really interested people, and we are hoping some of them will decide to step up to the plate (no pun intended) to help us out. We had some extra special help from “Sally”, a three-month old English Cream puppy who belongs to Bob’s daughter. She’s cute as a bug and really drew a lot of people to our table! Thank you Sally.
Our next event will be an evening at Riley Stadium for a RiverDogs game on Monday, May 29th at 7 p.m. They will be playing the West Virginia Power team, so come on out and join us. We have tickets for sale for only $10. Join our group for a fun evening. We will be taking donations and trying to find some foster parents. Hope to see you there to root for the home team.
